commission
Three albums with the Rome band La Fantascienza, from “È pieno di stelle” (2018) to “Siamo attimi di beatitudine” (2026), all mixed in Berlin, with recording, sound design and mastering along the way.
La Fantascienza takes its name and its stance from the genre born seventy years ago to expose the darkest corners of society in times of censorship. Every album has been worked on from Berlin. On “È pieno di stelle” (Funkhaus, released 9 June 2018): recording vocals, synths, strings and electronics, editing, mixing and mastering, and the sound production, shared with Vicky Casaburi. On “L’andare delle cose” (Kunstfabrik HB55, released 27 July 2023): recording the vocals, mixing and sound design. On “Siamo attimi di beatitudine” (Kunstfabrik, released 21 March 2026): recording strings and electronics, sound design, mixing and mastering.
Knowledge will save us.
The songs place the lives and deaths, the dreams and nightmares of real human beings in the settings of science fiction. “L’andare delle cose”, ten songs each named after a single idea, from “La crisi” to “La promessa”, tells of life, love, death and the journey of those who crossed the wall of water holding their breath. “Siamo attimi di beatitudine”, twelve songs recorded in Rome at the end of 2025, is dedicated to time: the time we lost, the time not yet lived, the time that separates us from the people we would have loved one more day. The same Berlin string quartet plays on the first and the latest album.
