Two instruments at first disconnected, made to ‘meet’ trying to exploit their languages. The word ‘language’ is not chosen at random. ‘Incontrhang’ is based entirely on dialectics, through which the two instruments literally dialogue with each other.
Both instruments have been recorded at Cosecomuni Recording Studio. For the double bass, I used an AKG 414 and Neumann U87. For the Hang Drum, I used an AKG 414 and SE4 stereo pair.
Electronic sounds have been generated by processing the instruments with Max/MSP.
